Call for proposals for Conferences in 2013

The Centro Stefano Franscini, congress centre of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zurich since 1989, gives the possibility to organize research conferences at Monte Verità, a hilltop over Ascona and Lake Maggiore.
All researchers and university professors working in Switzerland are invited to submit their proposals for a meeting to be held in 2013. The applications will be evaluated by an interdisciplinary scientific board.

We offer:

• a substantial financial support (provided by: ETH Zurich, Swiss National Science Foundation and EPF Lausanne)
• administrative assistance in the organization and carrying out of your meeting
• a modern congress centre in a magnificent venue, very interesting from the historical and cultural point of view, with a hotel and a restaurant in situ
• the CSF award (new): a prize destined for young researchers for the best oral presentation

We ask for:

• the organization of a scientifically top-quality conference lasting 3 or 5 days
• the participation of an international scientific audience composed of 50-100 senior and junior researchers, staying at Monte Verità for the whole duration of the conference
